Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale

This page is provided to promote responsible pet ownership and to ensure that both you and your pet enjoy a happy and healthy time together.  All purchasers of Persephonies Korat Kittens will be expected to sign a copy of this agreement at the time of purchase.

Please be aware that all our kittens are reared in an indoor environment - in most circumstances it is preferable to keep your kitten as an indoor pet. Any periods spent outside should be in a fully enclosed garden or run with adequate supervision. 

What we will provide:

1.	Registration of the Kitten's Pedigree with the GCCF
2.	GCCF Transfer Document
3.	A five-generation pedigree
4.	Advice on looking after your kitten
5.	Assistance in re-homing your Persephonies Korat if needed

6.	Are all fully vaccinated before leaving for new homes
7.	Are wormed and treated for fleas
8.	Are provided with insurance for the first 6 weeks in their new home. Refer to Pet Plan for details
9.	Have been hand reared in a normal home environment
10.	Are fully litter trained
11.	Are able to go to new homes at the age of 14 weeks or older as per the GCCF rules and regulations

What you agree to do:

1.	Provide a suitable loving home with a warm and comfortable environment with plenty of opportunity for play and exercise with frequent human attention
2.	Provide free access to drinking water at all times
3.	Provide adequate quantities of a suitable food i.e. James Well Beloved, Hills Science Plan, Royal Canin, Techni-Cal
4.	Provide access to a litter tray if kept inside
5.	Groom occasionally and treat for fleas and worms
6.	Ensure your Cat has its annual booster vaccination and health check by a suitably qualified vet
7.	Ensure that the Kitten is neutered between 6-9 months of age (unless agreed in writing beforehand by Persephonies) by a suitably qualified vet
8.	Seek veterinarian attention immediately if there appears to be a problem with your cat’s health
9.	Contact Persephonies Korats if you need to re-home your kitten/cat - new owners need to receive our prior approval, and we must be granted first refusal of the kitten/cat
10.	Not to de-claw, cut the tendons or otherwise mutilate your kitten/cat
11.	If the kitten is found to be neglected or in ill health for an unreasonable length of time the purchaser will unconditionally surrender the said kitten/cat

This is not an exhaustive list, as a responsible breeder registered with the GCCF we abide by all the recommendations outlined by the GCCF and would expect you to be a responsible owner and do likewise. Please refer to their web-site at http://www.gccfcats.org

Payment

We will only accept cash or cleared funds as payment. Cheques and bank transfers are welcome, but will need to be completed in advance to ensure the funds have cleared prior to you collecting your kitten. There are no exceptions so please do not ask.

Reserving a Kitten

1.	If you agree to these terms and conditions please register your interest by emailing Persephonies Korats
2.	We will put you on our waiting list and contact you as soon as a suitable kitten is available
3.	At between 2-6 weeks of age you will be emailed with links to the website where photographs of the available kitten(s) are posted, and be invited to see him/her
4.	A £100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your kitten
5.	Persephonies Korats reserve the right under special circumstances withdraw from the kitten sale

All legal costs resulting from violations against any conditions stipulated in this contract will be at the expense of the purchaser

If any provision of this contract is found to be unenforceable, it shall not effect any other provision, which shall remain in full force and effect

This agreement sets forth the entire understandings between the parties and supersedes and cancels all previous understandings, negotiations and agreements, whether oral or written, with respect to the subject matter of this agreement. No changes, alterations or modifications of this agreement will be effective unless in writing and signed by the parties hereto
