We are very grateful to receive updates from our kittens'
new homes. Please check out the individual pages (linked below) to see
just what they've been getting up to recently
Elwing made herself a nest in the office bedroom and began proceedings around
11pm on Sunday 3rd. Four of the five kittens were breach, so Liz helped with the
delivery (Craig with the first while Liz checked with the vet on the phone),
cutting the cords, cleaning the kittens and generally giving moral support. Three
little girls and two little boys later, Elwing and the healthy kittens moved
into the kittening box in the main bedroom. Everybody got to sleep around 1:30am
on Monday morning
In honour of the Wimbledon finals weekend (when the kittens were born) we
have named them:
Andy (Roddick). Now called Apollo,
but nick-named Anders and living with Nick
Roger (Federer). Now called
Morokot, but nick-named Merry and living with David and Sue (and Truta)
Venus (Williams). Venus has kept
her name and is living with Angela
Serena (Williams - while not
a finalist, still a great champion). Now called Miso and living with Jason,
just up the road from us!
