Before we got Tep we did
say to Liz that we “might” show him as we already had a few HP’s
that we travelled to the shows with. From his very first show
Tep just loved the attention - being a typical extrovert and vocal Korat!
As he was only five months old at this point we were amazed and
delighted when he won his open class, got 3 x 2nd in the side
classes and also got his first Best of Breed.

As his first outing was so
successful we decided we would keep going to see if he could get his Premier title and would then decide whether to take
it any further. At
shows he knew he was gorgeous and loved to pose for his admirers and when
two shows later he gained his Premier Title we were delighted.
Decision time for us – call it quits at Premier or go for Grand?
Go for Grand won. Three
shows later (December ’08) and our boy had done us all proud and was now
Grand Premier Persephonies Tep. |

Known at home as Sir Tep,
he is a typical outgoing and very lovable (and naughty) Korat who has
given us so much love and pleasure in the 3 years we have had him.
Showing him has been a great way of meeting other Korat owners and
it’s always nice to chat and exchange Korat stories and of course admire
other Korats. |
|
It is also an excellent way of promoting the breed as so many people mistake the Korat for the Russian Blue or simply don’t know what a Korat is and are interested in learning about this adorable breed. We would recommend anyone who owns one of these adorable cats to show your cat and enjoy the experience. Elaine & John
